The Community Agreement Party (CAP) will have three names on the ballot on Row B  - Judy Courtney, Michael Daab, Tracey Williams.  Be sure to vote for all three CAP Candidates on March 15th!

 

There are four Trustee openings (2-year terms) and the top four vote getters will become Village Trustees, regardless of what section they are from.

 

In this election like last year, you will be voting for individuals outside of your section of Garden City.  This is unlike "runoff" elections that have occurred in prior years in one section of the Village.

Vote in Person

In-person voting will be held at St Paul's Field House, 295 Stewart Avenue, Garden City, on March 15, 2022, between noon and 9pm

Register to Vote

In order to vote in the village election, you must be a registered voter,  To check to see if you are registered, click the link below and enter the requested information.

If you are not registered to vote, you can submit a Voter Registration Form to the Nassau County Board of Elections so that it is received by the County by March 4, 2022.  Click the link below to download a registration form.

Vote By Absentee Ballot

Voting by absentee ballot is a two-step process.

 

Step 1 - You may request an absentee ballot by completing and submitting an Absentee Ballot Application that must be received by March 8th. You can mail it to the address on page 2 of the application or drop it off at Village Hall.  After March 8th and through March 14th, you or your agent can deliver an application in person at Village Hall and you will be handed an absentee ballot.   You can download an application by clicking the box below or you can email/call Karen Altman, Village Clerk and she will mail you one (kaltman@gardencityny.net or 516-465-4051). 

If you are requesting an absentee ballot due to risks associated with COVID-19, check box “temporary illness or physical disability”on Section 1 of the application.

Step 2 - An absentee ballot will be mailed to you if your application is received prior to March 8th (or will be handed to you or your agent if you submit an application in-person after March 8th as noted above).  Your completed absentee ballot must be received at Village Hall by the close of the polls on March 15th.  You can mail it using the envelope provided with your ballot or drop it off at Village Hall.
